It is aimed at helping small to medium business owners and managers maximise their website’s search engine results. The inaugural SearchSchool seminar series will be held in Sydney and Melbourne and will attract delegates that have little to no knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation. The programme has been designed to introduce, explain and provide tips on each topic and is ultimately geared at helping business owners improve their online return. Topics include Fundamentals of Paid Search Marketing, Fundamentals of the WWW & Web design, Social Media Optimisation and Analytics. SearchSchool will be convened by Barry Smyth, Director of Search Strategies. Call Quality - near perfect! Finally, our new Cisco router is in, redundant Telco's are in place and the SE Asia call quality is damn near perfect. Took us a bit and we learned some hard lesson - but all is good now! Thanks for all your Patience. The We Call You Now development team Wednesday, 15 August 2007
Solve one issue and another one creeps up.In our last post we discussed our strategies to combat Telco supplier degradation. We have implemented that solution and now have a 100% redundant system. All was looking good until we had a hardware failure in our Sydney POP.Sometimes it is hard to win. Okay, we have routed traffic through our Frankfurt POP as we fix the Sydney issue. Call quality is great but there can be some "lag" in the conversations. You fix one issue and another one takes its place. This is a priority for us and the whole team is working to resolve the hardware issues, ASAP. The We Call You Now development team. Working with Murphy's law! Tuesday, 31 July 2007
Call quality updateIn our last post we explained some of the issues that were affecting call quality with our "click to call" service. We are happy to announce that we have secured an alternative Telco supplier and initial tests for all of SE Asia are very promising. To insure that the degradation does not occur again we are putting in place a back up provider so that we can change providers in hours and not the days and week long delays we have experienced in the past. With severe competition between providers and a changing market place, redundancy is now a high priority for us and we have used the backup strategy to achieve our goal of business grade quality calls. Please feel free to try the call quality yourself at http://www.wecallyounow.com/ All the best from our development team. Thursday, 19 July 2007
Call issuesTo all our users across Australia. Recently we have been struggling with call quality due to various reasons. First, our telco provider upgraded equipment and had implementation challenges. There have been floods in Melbourne that knocked out some of the exchanges. And believe it or not, a individual went on a rampage with a tank and knocked over four telco towers in Sydney. All this and more has been a challenge for us but we are working hard to restore both call quality and reliability. Sorry for any inconveniences. |
