Why We Call You Now when I have Skype?

Often, we are asked why anyone would want a We Call You Now button when you can talk around the world for free on Skype. Good question!

I use Skype, so I know its features and numerous benefits. It is a great service and the conferencing is the best I've found.

While an excellent service, it does require that you download and install their software. Conversations require a reasonably fast ADSL or broadband connection and the use of a headset with microphone. All this can be accomplished BUT do all your clients, customers and prospects have these requirements met and want to talk via the computer?

Many would prefer to just have their phone ring. You call them, you pay the charges and no hardware or software required. This happens a lot. Not all Internet users are technologically advanced, which is required to configure and use Skype. What is wrong with offering both channels? Is a missed customer worth the few cents it costs to talk over the We Call You Now phone system? Our experience indicates the more channels for communication, the better chance of doing business.

Best from the WCYN team
